This report summarizes visual and specimen records of the authors’ encounters with the threatened Philippine-endemic Green-faced Parrotfinch (Erythrura viridifacies) during 3 separate species inventories in 2013 on Mindoro island. These represent the first records of the species on the island. Specimens obtained also suggest that the species breeds prior to attaining full definitive plumage.
This plan aims to serve as a guide to stakeholders in the management of Mt. Halcon as a biodiversity important site and as a culturally significant area.
