Naujan Lake National Park, 5th largest lake in the Philippines and has a total area of about 21,665 hectares. The lake supports vulnerable, endangered and critically endangered species and a population of migratory birds. In 1999, the lake was declared as the 1008th Ramsar site worldwide and 2nd Ramsar site in the Philippines.
Primary data gathered in 2011 in partnership with UPLB Museum of Natural History provided current information and used as main input in updating the management plan of the area by the Interim Protected Area Management Board (IPAMB) of the Naujan Lake and the DENRRegion IVB – MIMAROPA to enhance and strengthen the management of the national park.
